According to The Daily Mail parents at the Stoke High School in Suffolk, England began complaining after noticing an adult man was attending class with their children, passing himself off as a fellow teen. In response the school reportedly dismissed the complaints as racist.
One father told The Daily Mail, “I went in [to] complain but I was fobbed off. They are deluded and seem more worried about how the bloke might feel,”
“I am not aware of this lad having done anything inappropriate, but it’s clearly wrong that he should be in a class with children.”
The man/teen in question, named Siavash, is reportedly 6’1”, has stubble, a large Adam’s apple, and a receding hairline leading parents to believe the gentleman was closer to 30 than 15. Additionally, he allegedly told a fellow schoolboy he was a married father of two and Facebook images revealed the student, full beardedly, swigging a beer.
Siavash was removed from the school after it was revealed he truly was an adult. According to Siavash, he fled from Iran and came to the UK with his 12 year old brother. He was reportedly perusing a free education by posing as a teenager taking advantage of Britain’s generous asylum system under which ~3,000 unaccompanied youngsters claim asylum each year. By claiming to be children, new arrivals are entitled to free education and accommodations in local authority children’s homes.
One parent asked the question on everyone’s mind: If the kids and parents could tell he was an adult, how come the school couldn’t?
