Eleven people were killed in a shooting at a synagogue in Pittsburgh on Saturday. It took place at the Tree of Life Congregation Synagogue in the Squirrel Hill area of the city during morning prayers.
The shooter was apprehended and taken to hospital. Donald Trump condemned the attack on the baby-naming ceremony as the “vile hate-filled poison of anti-Semitism” and called for the perpetrator to face the death penalty. “There must be no tolerance for anti-Semitism” or any other form of hate, he said. The shooter also was no fan of trump. Many of the shooters social media posts showed that he hated trump because he believed that trump was a Globalist who was being controlled by the "JEWS". This shows he’s an idiot because trump is a nationalist, not a globalist. It also seems like his only reasoning that Trump is controlled by the jews because Trump simply doesn’t hate Jews like this man did.
The FBI identified the shooter as a 46-year-old man who had a history of making anti-Semitic statements online. Just hours before the killings, Bowers posted a message on his Gab account attacking the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society — a Jewish charity involved with refugees. “HIAS likes to bring invaders in that kill our people. I can’t sit by and watch my people get slaughtered. Screw your optics, I’m going in,” the post said.
In a case of tragically comedic irony the doctor and several of the nurses that ended up saving the life of the gunman were Jewish. The scumbag continue in the hospital to scream about how he wanted to kill jews despite them saving his life.
He was indicted on 44-counts of hate crimes. In announcing the indictment, Attorney General Jeff Sessions said the alleged crimes “are incomprehensibly evil and utterly repugnant to the values of this nation. Therefore this case is not only important to the victims and their loved ones, but to the city of Pittsburgh and the entire nation.”
The charges carry a possible death sentence, and the Justice Department has said previously that federal prosecutors in Pittsburgh had initiated the process to seek such a punishment. The case, though, must still be reviewed by Justice Department lawyers specializing in capital cases, and the final decision will ultimately be left to the attorney general.
This attack was the deadliest attack on Jews in U.S. history. More importantly, this was a terrorist attack on innocent American Citizens, the race, their creed, and their beliefs do not change that. These are the actions evil, unhinged person. This is also the results of only one of many supremacist, tribalistic and hateful belief systems that are currently dividing our society. All of them are wrong, we are opposed to all of them. If you choose to hate someone, or to harm someone, or justify the harming of someone just because of the way they were born, then you are wrong, and you harbor the same kind of hate that lead to this man’s actions. It’s not different from a muslim that hates non believers, a Feminist who hates men, a black nationalist who hates white people or any other similar group.
